The Planning Process

At GrandeGarden we believe that every successful event begins with impeccable planning and communication.. Your initial appointment will be detailed, so please reserve a minimum of 30 minutes to 1 hour for your consultation.

The initial consultation will give you an overview of what your needs and wants are and their
approximate costs. We will e-mail you an itemized proposal of floral and décor costs for your event as soon as possible after our meeting. The quoted price you receive is valid for up to five (5) days from the day you received the quote.

 If you decide to book with us, your retainer is $250 USD, this retainer holds your date as well as the set up and delivery charges (non-refundable); you can make changes up to 3 weeks prior to your wedding date. A 50% installment is due 3 months prior to your wedding date and the balance is due 3 weeks prior to your wedding date. (A more extensive list of Terms will be explained and attached after your initial consultation). After a retainer has been received we meet with you as many times as needed to get all the fine details accomplished.

Making an Appointment

Each wedding is distinctive; we can only provide a general price sheet. Each wedding is designed
and orchestrated by your GrandeGarden floral designer, no two are ever alike. We can give you an
estimated cost once we meet with you and review your wedding décor and floral vision.

Deposit / Retainer Fee

A $250 deposit is required to hold your wedding date and quoted prices not more than 5 days
after the presentation of the worksheet. Since we book a limited number of weddings per weekend, our calendar fills very quickly. All dates are reserved on a first come first booked basis.

GrandeGarden Weather Policy

While the GrandeGarden design team will make every effort to obtain the best possible look and
feel as far as décor and floral design is concerned, no guarantee is made about the weather
conditions on the date of the event due to rain, breeze, heat, humidity, etc.

Rental Policy

All rental equipment will be picked up or returned immediately after the event. If you wish to
keep any rental item for a longer period of time (past the event hours) you may do so at an
additional charge. Any broken or damaged equipment will be billed at retail value.

Payment

The balance is due three (3) weeks prior to the wedding. We will not place an order for your flowers
until the wedding is paid in full. We order flowers from our suppliers approximately 10 days before the
date needed. If payment is received after the time needed to order the flowers, we will not guarantee
the floral varieties chosen or the quoted prices in the estimate.

GrandeGarden Flower Availability Policy

Please note that we sell style and colour as the most important components of the bouquets and
arrangements that you order. Every effort will be made to obtain the flower varieties you have chosen.

Getting Married In Jamaica

There are certain requirements necessary prior to your marriage in Jamaica. Thankfully, they are not challenging as you will see from the list below:

1. You must arrive on the island at least 24 hours prior to your wedding ceremony.
2. You must have a marriage license. Ideally, obtained prior to your arrival. The documents listed below are needed for your license:

1. Full Names of Bride and Groom
2. Marital status
3. Occupation
4. Age
5. Father's Name
6. Copy of Birth Certificate
7. Photo page of Passport or Drivers License

The Information requested is for both parties. If divorced you will need a copy of the divorce decree.
